Styptic Powder (.5 OZ)

A powder used by Professional Groomers and Breeders to Stop Bleeding due to cuts, abrasions, bleeding toenails and blood-feather bleeding in birds. This product comes in a tightly closed small double wall jar. This is not a veterinary product for deep wounds, body cavities or burns. If bleeding does not stop, consult a veterinarian.

Ingredients
Bentonite, a liquid absorber and detoxificant Diatomaceous (DE) Potassium Aluminum used for absorption properites sulfate (SO4), acts as a dessicant Ferric Subsulfate-Ferric subsulfate is a hemostatic agent which stops bleeding by contracting blood vessels. Light and moisture sensitive, keep in tightly closed jars. Non-harzardous for transporting. Ammonium Chloride (NH4CL), used as an accelerator
 
Directions
Apply a pinch of styptic powder to the bleeding area. Use a moderate amount of pressure until the bleeding stops. Do not rinse or wipe off. If bleeding does not stop, consult a vet. Keep product in a tightly closed jar to avoid light and moisture. Do not leave container open on the grooming table. Keep out of eyes and pets eyes may cause eye irritation. Wash hands after using. Not to be taken internally. Do not directly inhale or allow pet to inhale.
